MEET EDDIE
I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina. In 2006, I moved to Miami to attend the University of Miami. I then moved to Iowa City in 2010 to attend the University of Iowa College of Law. While in law school, I met my future wife. After graduating, we moved to Des Moines. Since our move to Des Moines, we have welcomed three dogs and two children. As a family, we enjoy going to the local library and playgrounds.
Prior to opening my own practice, I was a partner at Hopkins and Huebner Law Firm. At Hopkins and Huebner Law Firm, I maintained a general practice working in criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, and probate. Before working at Hopkins and Huebner, I was a judicial clerk for the Fifth Judicial District of Iowa where I assisted judges in researching issues and writing judicial opinions.
In my spare time, I enjoy being involved in the community. I am on the board for the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association, and my office hosts their monthly meetings. I help organize a trick-or-treat for the business district in Beaverdale and an annual bluegrass festival.

EDUCATION
I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2013. Prior to going to law school, I attended the University of Miami, Florida and graduated with a double major in journalism and political science. I am a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
